Level Shoe District, one of Emirates Woman’s favourite haunts in The Dubai Mall, is set to welcome a new brand to their already stellar roster thanks to a partnership with British fashion label Burberry.

Inspired by their recent S/S14 collection, the busy floor, which is located within the biggest mall in Dubai, will house a selection of Burberry Prorsum shoe styles on vibrantly themed platforms.

Burberry’s Chief Creative Officer, Christopher Bailey, who has been credited with modernising the heritage brand, insists the colourful stands were inspired by the English Rose. Having taken a key role in conceptualising the gold, white and pastel spaces, Bailey worked closely with the Level Shoe District team to create a unique look that was true to the company’s modern yet feminine DNA.

Featuring 3D floral motifs, a notable touch in Burberry’s entire accessories line, in an array of pastel colours, the pop-up shop perfectly mimics the whimsical Burberry window displays across the world. With an edited selection of shoe designs, including the popular vinyl and suede strappy sandals, which have been spotted on street style stars and A-listers alike, these must-visit stand-alone stores will be open to the public until March 23.

The label may already have stores catering to both children and womenswear in The Dubai Mall, but Level Shoe District boasts a dedicated area specifically to house men’s and women’s accessories, with over 300 iconic and emerging labels housed in 40 boutiques, making it the ideal partner for Burberry’s latest Middle Eastern venture. Having just transformed its space into an interactive ‘shoe garden,’ to mark the arrival of the spring collections, the botanical-inspired Burberry stalls will no doubt encourage a swarm of style-savvy shoppers from the region.
