Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations are set to begin in only a few weeks and ahead of this Bottega Veneta and unveiled a special installation.

Under the fashion house’s new creative director, Matthieu Blazy, the label unveiled a noteworthy digital installation that displays the festive message ‘Happy New Year’ on the Great Wall of China before Lunar New Year celebrations begin on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.

The signage is displayed in hues of green and tangerine – colours that are noted as a symbol of luck in Chinese culture.

Historically regarded as ‘The First Pass Under Heaven’, the festive message presented gained quite a bit of traction as Bottega Veneta continues to innovate while adding a refreshing twist.

Greetings from the Great Wall of China were seen in a new light as they managed to create an impressionable imprint within the walls while still thinking outside the box.

As the brand believes in giving back, the house has pledged to support the renovation and maintenance of the Shanhai Pass, which is a major pass on the Great Wall of China through its notable donations.
