Boss it in 2020

If there is one item of clothing that can make you look, and feel, like you have your stuff together, it’s a perfectly tailored blazer.

Whether you work in a corporate environment, or somewhere with a relaxed dress code, a well-cut jacket can be a fun and chic addition to you wardrobe, all you have to decide is how to style it. Mixing a structured blazer with a casual T-shirt and jeans never fails to look contemporary, while a skirt and blouse delivers an air of sophistication. Throwing it back to the 90’s, a slip dress or a satin skirt will both play a major role this season, so invest in a neutral colour and style with either heels or tough boots.

The blazer dominated several SS20 runways, notably Bottega Veneta, Chloe, Altuzarra, Givenchy, Tod’s, Dion Lee, Celine, Max Mara, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Rag & Bone, Dior, and Valentino, Styled with bemuda shorts or waistcoats, many were cut long and lean, falling just below the knee, while some were exaggerated with embellishments and belts.

It wasn’t easy for us to pick our top 10, but each one these stellar blazers has something to offer your new-season attitude.
