Listen up Beyhive, this is not a drill!!

If you are a Beyoncé fan who has been waiting for new material, then this is for you. According to American magazine Us Weekly, Queen B is reportedly working on new music which is expected to go out sometime this summer. But that’s not all, sources also told the outlet that Beyoncé is working with streaming giants Netflix on a documentary.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like the 37-year-old will be dropping a visual and concept album Lemonade style any time soon. Instead, she is apparently releasing a “couple of new tracks [for] a deluxe album filled with old songs,” a source told the outlet. Beyoncé doesn’t have a new full album, but we will take what we get!

Moreover, in regards to the Netflix documentary, a source informed the magazine that it will centre around the singer’s iconic 2018 Coachella performance that broadcasted live on YouTube to a record-breaking 498,000 people. Beyoncé knocked it out of the park with a 26-song setlist, which spanned her entire career. At one point during the historic show, she addressed the crowd, telling them, “Thank you for allowing me to be the first black woman to headline Coachella.”

Originally, the mother-of-three was scheduled to headline the music festival in 2017; however, her pregnancy with twins Sir and Rumi Carter led her to delay the performance. Nevertheless, the show was everything we have come to expect from the Single Ladies singer, who was joined on stage by by Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland for a Destiny’s Child reunion; her sister Solange Knowles; and her husband Jay-Z at different points during the concert.

This is very exciting news, since the last time Beyoncé hasn’t released solo music was back in 2016. Over this past year, she has been working side-to-side with Jay-Z, as they toured together for On The Run II and released a joint album, Everything Is Love.

We. Can’t. Wait
