Self-isolation style
If you thought fashion was taking a break in a wake of a global pandemic, think again.
With self-isolation and social distancing directives in place, Bella Hadid managed to shoot a whole fashion campaign without leaving her house.
A first for the fashion world, French luxury brand Jacquemus coordinated an entire shoot with the supermodel over FaceTime. Designer Simon Porte Jacquemus and photographer Pierre-Ange Carlotti staged the entire SS20 campaign over the phone, and the results are pretty impressive.

Titled ‘Jacquemus at home’, Hadid is seen striking various poses while wearing key pieces from the summer collection, including a chic white suit, a polo neck knitted body, colourful sunglasses and a raffia tote bag. She kept the makeup natural, with just a hint of gloss on the lips, and had her hair either slicked back or undone and slightly messy.
As many have noted on social media, what COVID-19 has shown is that a lot of the jobs can be done from home, and Hadid is a stylish example of that.
Elsewhere, the fashion industry has come together to support the COVID-19 efforts by using their own factories to to produce hand sanitiser and personal protective equipment for the front-line workers.
