Season after season, collection after collection, Bottega Veneta continues to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to fashion.
Under the eye of Daniel Lee, who was appointed creative director in 2018, the brand is paving the way when it comes to thinking outside of the box.
The Maison’s mantra from its inception 55 years ago has been to create well-crafted pieces that speak for themselves and, at present, this couldn’t be more true for the brand than ever.
Lee has continued to embrace this core Bottega Veneta value has, creating pieces that break the mould, tell a story and make a statement, but will also stand the test of time.
Furthermore creating its own space in the fashion world, Lee opted to forego the traditional fashion circuit, creating a new runway show – Salon.
Salon 01 dropped last year which was hosted in an intimate setting in London with A-list guests including Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Kanye West. Recently, Bottega unveiled its second instalment under the Salon umbrella – the Salon 02 collection.
Also cultivating brand individuality, Lee made the decision to go against the grain by shutting down all of its social media accounts earlier this year. This decision was made in order to truly showcase the work that goes into the designs and content produced by Bottega Veneta.
Utilising every aspect of what online content has to offer, Bottega launched its own “digital journal” entitled Issue, which is an ode to the brand’s continued innovation and creativity which is paving the way in fashion.
