IN PARTNERSHIP: Nowadays when it comes to investing in a luxury vehicle, it’s not just about the impeccable design. Sustainability is also a major factor for many when it comes to choosing a new car.

The latest launch in the Middle East from Audi delivers both – an expressive design with beautiful lines and a forward-thinking machine from the inside and out.

Described as a reinterpreted Gran Turismo of the future, the new fully electric e-tron GT embodies the new concept of progressive luxury where sustainability and opulence go hand-in-hand.

Encapturing the classic idea of the Gran Tourismo in a four-door coupé design, the new e-tron GT takes the concept car to the next level and moves Audi into the future.

Available in two models, the e-tron GT quattro and the RS e-tron GT, this new vehicle from Audi will take the Middle East by storm.

In fact, the RS e-tron GT has been pegged as “the most powerful production model” the German car manufacture has produced to date.

The specifics of the RS e-tron GT includes a WLTP range of 488 km and 472 km; maximum speed of 250 km/h; can go from zero to 100 km/h in three seconds; an 800 volt charging system; and a net battery capacity of 83.7 kWh.

Also keeping in mind long haul journeys, the RS e-tron GT can charge from five per cent to 80 per cent in just 22.5 minutes using one of the available high power chargers, plenty of which are available in the UAE. Currently, between Dubai and Abu Dhabi there are 56 charge points available on the 149km journey.

It’s clear maximum precision, top quality design and passion have all gone into creating the new e-tron GT and it marks a new chapter in the iconic history of Audi.

In the words of Elmir Arnautovic, head of communications for Audi in the Middle East: “Audi has continued to blaze the trail into the emotional, extremely exciting future of electric mobility.”

With the e-tron GT, Audi is welcoming a new kind of energy to the Middle East.

The e-tron GT is currently available for purchase in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar with models becoming available across more markets in the region within the next 12 months. Visit audi-me.com for more information or inquire with your local dealer.
