Why is everyone attacking the royal couple?
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are having a tough time with the press at the moment.
The royal couple came under fire when false press reports stated that they used public money to fund a private jet flight to visit Elton John in the South of France with their son.

Musician fiercely responded to the allegation writing in an Instagram post that the jet was provided by him, and to support the Duke of Sussex’s commitment to environment, their flight was carbon neutral.
“I’m calling on the press to cease these relentless and untrue assassinations on their character that are spuriously crafted on an almost daily basis,” he added.
Portia and I met Prince Harry and Meghan in England to talk about their work on wildlife conservation. They were the most down-to-earth, compassionate people. Imagine being attacked for everything you do, when all you’re trying to do is make the world better. pic.twitter.com/226pRO1fj1

TV presenter Ellen Degeneres also spoke out for Harry and Meghan by writing on Twitter: “They were the most down-to-earth, compassionate people. Imagine being attacked for everything you do, when all you’re trying to do is make the world better.”
Singer Pink has come to their defence saying that the latest media coverage is “the most public form of bullying” and called for kindness.
I’m happy to see people coming to the defense of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The way people treat her is the most public form of bullying I have seen in a while. It’s out of control. Let’s all be a bit kinder, huh? Let’s show our children that it’s cool to be kind.

The press’ new attitude can be the reason why the couple have reduced their access. Being in the public eye has it’s consequences, but is it time to stop attacking them?
