Back in April 2022, Indian actor Alia Bhatt married her long-time beau Ranbir Kapoor, in an intimate ceremony. The beloved Bollywood couple took ther vows on the balcony and were praised for their simplistic wedding.
Alia was especially lauded for her choice of minimalistic wedding ensemble. Ditching the traditional Indian lehengas in hues of crimson and gold, The Heart of Stone actor wore an off-white Sabyasachi sari with a matching veil.

Today, the 30-year-old actor was honoured at the 69th National Film Awards, with the Best Actress title, for her performance in the 2021 hit film Gangubai Kathiawadi. Not only did Alia re-wear her wedding sari, she also styled it differently.
Taking her diaphanous six yards for yet another spin, the Darlings actor accessorised it with a bejewelled choker and white roses for her hair – an element signifanct to her character in the film she was being awarded for.
In the day-and-age of where it’s a trend to wear and post it only once on the the ‘gram, it was refreshing to see Alia Bhatt repeat her ivory wedding sari on yet another big day in her life.
