If you simply can’t resist a chunky sneaker, then make your way to Level Shoes in the Dubai Mall.
The shoe haven has unveiled it’s latest month-long pop-up with non other than Alexander McQueen. A brand long-favoured by Kate Middleton – Sarah Burton designed the Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding dress – has created a hub for fans of the brand to explore it’s exclusive collection of accessories.
Burton’s love for nature has translated into a series of bulky-sole sneakers featuring an embellished beetle, while some of the boots reflect elements of the beetle such as the holographic finish.
The space consisting of printed walls and maze-like set up was designed by McQueen studio in London. Exclusive pieces come alive with Augmented reality that sees beetles crawl over the shoes – just download the dedicated app.
