And the campaign has been shot by a certain Mr Mario Testino no less…
A global beauty brand has just pledged to only use real women – not models – in its adverts, and selected a team of women from around the world to front its newest campaign.
Among them is one Middle Eastern mum-to-be, who’s now one of 32 new faces for Dove.
What’s more, the skin and haircare brand tapped legendary photographer Mario Testino, who’s captured some of the world’s most iconic portraits, to shoot the campaign.

Dove has long drafted in everyday women as spokespeople for adverts and videos, but this month it’s released its Real Beauty Pledge, which vows the brand will use absolutely no models in its campaigns.
“Models reflect a narrow view of beauty. Dove believes that beauty is for everyone and therefore features real women of different ages, sizes, ethnicities, hair colour, type or style,” the brand said in a statement.
Nor will women used be Photoshopped, Dove added, saying the brand refuses to “present the unachievable, manipulated, flawless images of ‘perfect’ beauty which the use of retouching tools can promote”.
The Testino campaign ties into the new pledge, and stars Marisa, an Iran-born financial analyst who says she discovered a newfound respect for the female body when she became pregnant.

“You are beautiful if you can accept and love your body and soul in any stage of life. For me beauty always comes with health,” Marisa says in the campaign.
Her portrait will now be used in Dove ads across the world, along with the images of her fellow campaign models, who range in age from 11 to 71 and encompass 15 different nationalities.
Could we see an Emirati featured in the next ad? Here’s hoping…
