Ahead of her visit to Dubai on October 14, reality TV star Kim Kardashian has been held at gunpoint at a luxury residence in Paris.
The wife of rap star Kanye West, who abruptly cancelled his New York concert midway through Heartless, citing “family emergency”, is said to be “shaken but unharmed”.
However, the family have been uncharacteristically silent on social media since the event and it’s not yet sure if the frightening incident will see the star cancel her visit to Dubai this month for her beauty masterclass with pal Mario Dedivanovic.

Kim Kardashian was in the French capital for Paris Fashion Week having attended the Balenciaga catwalk show earlier on Sunday. The star documented her whereabouts and activities on Snapchat.
Kim earlier in the day at Balenciaga, before the attack:
Just a few hours later, the 35-year-old mother of two was held at gunpoint in her luxury residence near the historic Madeleine Church by five men (initial reports said two men) posing as police officers. The men tied her up and gagged her before stealing millions of euros (estimated US$9 million) worth of jewellery and fleeing the scene.
Police told the AFP news agency: “The loss amounts to several million euros, mostly jewellery. The total amount is still being evaluated.”
While Kim was visiting Paris with her mother, Kris Jenner, and sisters, Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, it has not yet been revealed if her family were present during the hold up.
French major Anne Hidalgo made a statement after the robbery, saying: “I condemn the attack Kim Kardashian suffered last night in her hotel. She has my support and will always be welcome here in Paris. I have full confidence that the police force, as part of their investigation, will quickly identify and apprehend the perpetrators of these acts.”
It has not been a easy trip for Kim in France as the terrifying ordeal comes a few days after she was rushed by a man, in Paris, while getting out of her vehicle. Luckily at that time her security were there to intervene.
Grateful for being rescued, Kim tweeted after the incident: “My security [Pascal Duvier] is a G.”

The man who tried to rush her was self-proclaimed prankster Vitalii Sediuk who recently got a beating from Gigi Hadid after lifting her up as she left a Max Mara fashion show.
