Fashion house Dior has appointed its first-ever global ambassador from the Middle East.
Saudi Arabian singer and actress Aseel Omran revealed the exciting news with her 6 million Instagram followers over the weekend.
Sharing a photo of herself in a full Dior outfit, Aseel announced her new role as global ambassador for the Maison.
“I’m proud to share with you a partnership that is dear to my heart,” she said. “Today, I’m officially the first Dior ambassador in the Middle East and I cannot begin to express my excitement level.

“Dior is a brand I was genuinely a big fan of growing up. I can’t wait to show you what the rest of the year holds.”
The groundbreaking appointment of Aseel in this role comes after Roberto Cavalli unveiled Karen Wazen as its first-ever global ambassador from the Middle East earlier this year.
The Dubai-based fashion influencer’s first global campaign with the House of Cavalli was unveiled last month.
