Have a leisurely weekday lunch
Why not get the weekend started in style with a dish or two at the newly renovated Nineteen, a Mediterranean-inspired eatery that overlooks the Address Montgomerie’s green golf course. It’s the last weekend of Market Outside the Box, the outdoor destination that brings together 120 emerging and iconic regional designers in Burj Park for a shopping extravaganza. Not been yet? Brunch your way into the evening
Meydan’s latest, Soho Garden, is quickly becoming a bit of a favourite around here, and to add to that, they’ve just launched a brunch. Think poke bowls and prosecco in the sun, alongside music from DJ Adam Graca. It’s a good time, and perfect for easing your way into the venue’s weekly Café Mambo takeover, which sees DJs from the legendary Ibiza venue bring that vibe to Dubai.

She’s got five hit albums under her belt, and now you can see Myriam Fares perform live in Dubai. The Lebanese songstress will put on a show at Global Village this weekend (she’s on right after the fireworks display) and we’re expecting hits such as Nifsi Aoulhalak and Mosh Ananey.

Tuck into a truffled feast
If you’re a fan of the ultra-luxe fungi, then you’ll be keen to try BiCE’s new black truffle-themed menu. Boasting four indulgent dishes—including cheese-stuffed ravioli with shaved truffle (Dhs250) and a truffle-imbued dark chocolate mousse (Dhs40)—you can pick and choose options or eat your way through the whole menu for Dhs595. We’re already planning what elasticated trousers we’ll be wearing in anticipation.

See a classic on the big screen
As part of Manarat Al Saadiyat’s Cinema Space concept, fans of the silver screen can see a restored smash hit in a powerful setting. This week, the Charlton Heston epic, Ben Hur, will be screened in the auditorium, so expect thundering action, chariot races and gripping drama (it won 11 Oscars so you know it’s worth a watch).
