There’s no denying it, Dubai is a serious tourist hotspot. The numbers are there, according to Airports Council International, Dubai International Airport saw an enormous 77.5 million passengers pass through its halls, making it the busiest airport in the world.

Why wouldn’t people want to visit here though? There are shopping malls galore, there’s nice weather, and you’ve got the option to while away the time at whatever pace suits you best – be it on beaches, or Barasti. All you need now is a glam hotel to top it all off. Well if you’re planning to visit soon, you may be in luck. Here are three super-cool, opening soon, Dubai hotels that you need to know about…

Rove Hotel Dubai

What? The Rove lifestyle hotel brand is coming to Dubai. It’s set to open 10 new hotels throughout the city, with the main two being Rove Downtown Dubai and Rove At The Park.

The 420-room Rove Downtown Dubai has brought in one of the region’s best boutique art consultants, Capsule Arts, which will help with filling the hotel with pieces from some of the region’s best artists.

You’ll find art on every level, plastering the walls – turning the building into some sort of gallery-hotel hybrid.

Rove At The Park is similarly fancy, and will be an 458-room hotel situated right next to the soon-to-be mega theme park Dubai Parks and Resorts.

W Dubai

What? If Star Trek was set in the 1970s, it’d be the W Hotel. The brand has built up a name as one of the cooler places to spend a night, nicknaming their amenities with quirky names – such as the Wet Deck in lieu of swimming pool. Check-in is on the 30th floor, with a night club on the top-floor under a domed roof.

Inside you’ll find 356 futuristically-designed rooms, a bunch of restaurants, a handful of places for a good night out and a shop or two.

More hotels to come…

These aren’t the only hotels opening soon though. Dubai’s a pretty busy destination…

Paramount Tower Hotel & Residences

What? A movie-lover’s paradise, the Paramount Hotel will be the embodiment of Hollywood elegance meets cool California. Elements from Paramount movies will be showcased throughout the hotel, such as Iron Man, Transformers and The Godfather, with each floor carrying a subtle film theme. There’ll be a total of 826 rooms over 64 stories, with the hotel’s elite ‘Producer’ suites being themed on actors or films.

212

Where? Downtown Dubai.

When? Q3 2019.

Hard Rock Hotel

What? While the Hard Rock Hotel was meant to be finished by 2015, it has since been delayed. No date has been set on its estimated completion, but we reckon it’ll be towards Expo 2020. The hotel will be quite the addition to the skyline as it will be the second tallest building in Dubai. With 288 rooms over a total of 101 stories, the hotel will also contain a number of bars, restaurants, as well as a Rock Shop (rock music, that is), and a fitness centre.
