Emirati designer Latifa Al Gurg, founder of fashion label Twisted Roots, launched the contemporary fashion brand in 2014. With her designs adding a twist to the culture she draws inspiration from her heritage and infuses each style with a modern edge. Born out of her love for travel, “I went on to research more which led me to identify a gap in the market and later launch Twisted Roots – a brand inspired by travel and aesthetics,” she told Emirates Woman in an interview.
