With travelling back on the radar again, we couldn’t be most ecstatic with all the destinations opening worldwide especially without the restriction of quarantining.

From the USA to Asia, there is a heap of cities that have opened their doors to welcome residents of the UAE, as they unwind in a new scenery without the burden of restrictions, with certain rules and guidelines in place to ensure the health and safety of all.

Barcelona

As the largest city of Spain’s Catalonia region, Barcelona is famous for a host of sightseeing spots including modern art museums, serene parks and delicious tapas. UAE residents must present a vaccination certificate that proves they’ve taken both doses 14 days prior to travelling as authorized by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) along with those approved by the World Health Organization. Tourists must also complete a health control form 48 hours prior to departure on the platform spth.gob.es or using the Spain Travel Health app. After the form is completed, it must be presented to the necessary airlines, while also completing the health control checks upon arrival.

With Armenia being a popular travel destination in recent times, Baku is welcoming travellers who have presented a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of departure along with another test to be undertaken on arrival at their own expense, while self-isolating until the result is back which can take up to 48 hours.

With Turkey now being open for a host of passengers except those from South Africa and Brazil, travellers must simply present negative COVID-19 PCR tests and fill in the Turkey entrance form within 72 hours of departure.

After reopening its doors for international travel, vaccinated visitors have the opportunity to visit this gorgeous city with any of the European Medical Agency approved (EMA) vaccines to be completed including Pfizer BioNTech, Moderna, Astra Zeneca/Oxford, and Johnson + Johnson/Janssen. All vaccinated tourists from UAE are still required to present a negative COVID-19 test, taken in advance of travel.

With its charming atmosphere and scintillating views, travellers from the globe over can visit this beautiful city if they have a certificate of full vaccination against COVID-19 or have a certificate of a previous COVID-19 infection. The vaccine must be authorized by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and will also need to undergo a free COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival into the city. Travellers must also complete a pre-registration form in advance.

This picturesque capital city of Italy known for its stunning architecture and renowned attractions is all set to welcome travellers from around the UAE, with quarantine-free travel, thanks to the country’s COVID-free flight program. Passengers will not be required to quarantine on arrival if they test negative both before departure and on arrival. In addition, a negative PCR test must be provided within 48 hours along with a digital passenger locator form which can be found here. UAE travellers must then undergo a rapid swab test which needs to be pre-booked only and paid for as it costs around Dhs90 (Eur20).

Tbilisi

While being surrounded by nature, this cobblestoned old town reflects a well-known history of European times with several modernist structures as it now welcomes tourists who’ve had two doses of the vaccine. Those who are residents or citizens of these Middle Eastern countries which include the UAE, Bahrain and Qatar, can still travel, however, will need to present a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours and must undergo a second one upon arrival.
