Air Arabia is launching a new flight to Prague just in time for Christmas…

Twinkling lights, snowflakes, the scent of gingerbread wafting through the air… Christmas is without doubt the most wonderful time of the year to visit Europe. And our wanderlust has been sparked with the news that low-cost airline Air Arabia is set to launch a new direct flight to the gorgeous European city of Prague later this year.

The Sharjah-based airline will launch its inaugural flight to the Czech Republic capital on December 11 – so yes, just in time to visit those famous Christmas markets.

We’ve got two new destinations to add to our must-see list

The flight will take six hours and 50 minutes, and will operate five times a week. On Tuesdays and Sundays, the flight will depart Sharjah International Airport at 8am and arrive in Prague at 11.50am, and on the return leg, the flight will depart from Prague at 12.35pm and land back in Sharjah at 9.40pm.

On Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, the flight will leave Sharjah at 3.30pm and arrive in Prague at 7.20pm, while the return flight will depart Prague at 9.05pm and arrive in Sharjah the following day at 6.10am.

We’ve had a look at the Air Arabia website, and the cheapest flights cost around Dhs800, one-way. We imagine you’ll want to think about booking now if you want to soak up that festive atmosphere. Just 19 weeks to go…
