It’s got the eyes, lips and lashes down, and now Huda Beauty is going to help us really lay the base for a good face.
That’s right, the Dubai-based beauty brand by makeup-artist-turned-entrepreneur Huda Kattan is working on its first foundation.
The businesswoman confirmed the news on Instagram last week, and shared product swatches on her Snapchat.

Rumours had been afloat since late last year, but Kattan’s Snapchat video was the first look at the product itself – and we’re already impressed.
Boasting a diverse range of shades to suit all skin tones, the makeup guru did reveal creating a base was a time-consuming process.
“Foundations are the hardest project I’ve done to date!” she captioned the video.
The star also released a Instagram story a few weeks ago where she applied a little of her foundation to her skin.
“This is our secret foundation,” Kattan said. “It’s launching later, but I just cant help but tease you guys.”
There’s no word yet on what the foundation will cost (we’ll keep you posted) but Kattan did tell Racked that the product would launch in October 2017, and feature more than 20 shades.

“The [foundation] formula is special. I’ve tried so many foundations and it is full cover and it’s honestly changed my life,” she told the magazine.
“Colour matching for foundation is like the hardest thing I think I’ve ever done for beauty. I was doing fractions trying to find the percentage of people who have redness in their skin!”
Kattan also revealed last month that her brand is releasing a highlighter palette and a primer in the very near future…
Coming to phone screens soon
In other exciting Huda Beauty news, Kattan confirmed in December that she’s launching her own emoji app.
There’s no word yet on the launch date, but the makeup artist promised to share details on Instagram and Snapchat.
