Back to work blues? There’s another holiday in the coming weeks…
The long weekend may be over, but another UAE holiday has been announced for 2018. Both public and private sectors will have two days off for the UAE National Day celebrations at the start of December.

The holiday will run over Sunday December 2 and Monday December 3, meaning that both public and private employees will have four consecutive days off, including Friday November 30 and Saturday December 1.
The long weekend will mark the 47th UAE National Day, celebrating the union of the emirates on Sunday December 2. Commemoration Day, which normally takes place on November 30, will be observed a day earlier this year on Thursday November 29, but is not expected to be announced as a public and private holiday.

The holiday will be the last in 2018, with the next expected on January 1 2019.
