Dolce & Gabbana has also launched an exclusive capsule collection to celebrate its new boutique in The Dubai Mall.

We’ve often been lost down the maze of pathways, but there was no chance of missing these models in their colour-popping creations.

Dubai’s souks were turned into the backdrop of a high-fashion shoot recently, with Dolce & Gabbana unveiling a new capsule collection among the trinkets and spices on show.

The luxury Italian label brought together 10 regional influencers in the historic destination to model for the campaign, including Tamara Al Gabbani and Dubai’s own Leena Al Ghouti.

The style-savvy millennials donned a number of bold and bucolic looks, part of a collection designed exclusively for Dubai.

The range was launched to celebrate Dolce & Gabbana’s new boutique in The Dubai’s Mall’s much-anticipated Fashion Avenue expansion.

The high-end extension will eventually play home to more than 150 luxury brands, with labels including Gucci, Hermès, Cartier and Dior setting up shop.

For Dolce & Gabbana’s exclusive collection, expect timeless separates clad in a white geranium print, and menswear emblazoned in graffiti-esque etchings.

This isn’t the first time the heritage brand has stormed Dubai’s souks either, after staging a photo shoot in the alleyways of Old Dubai for its abaya collection last year.

The fashion house, best known for its form-fitting designs worn by many an A-lister, launched its first hijab and abaya collection aimed at Muslim women in 2016, joining other western designers like Tommy Hilfiger and DKNY.

The luxury brand, which has been lauded for its Muslim-friendly designs, has also worked with several Middle Eastern influencers in recent months.

Lebanese blogger Lana El Sahely was cherrypicked by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana to walk in the pair’s Autumn/Winter 2017 display at Milan Fashion Week, while hijabi blogger Ruba Zai starred in one of their AW17 campaigns.
