Mid-morning pick-me-ups don’t get better than this
One of Dubai’s most luxurious hotels is serving guests a cappuccino sprinkled with 24-carat Italian gold flakes.
Available for a snip at Dhs85, the gold cappuccino is available to purchase from 8am to 11pm at the Burj Al Arab, the world’s only seven star hotel.

Made using 100% Arabican beans, mixed with fresh, organic milk and blended with 24-carat gold, the beverage is served on golden fine-bone china. The drink features the hotel’s trademark sail-shaped design and is served alongside a Grand Cru Guanaja, a chocolate marshmallow sprinkled with gold.
This isn’t the first time the Burj Al Arab has hit headlines for its extravagance. In January, the hotel created the world’s largest tin of caviar, earning itself a Guinness World record in the process.
Last year, Armani Hotel Dubai introduced a “gold cappuccino” adorned with 23 carat gold flakes, served with dark chocolate.
Race you there.
