Ksenia Tsaritsina and her Russian millionaire husband tied the knot in an elaborate ceremony in their home country, before jetting off to the Burj al Arab.
He gave her a whopping 70-carat diamond to mark spending five years together.
So it’s little surprise that the wedding of Russian model Ksenia Tsaritsina and businessman Aleksey Shapovalov was nothing short of lavish.
In fact, it’s one of the most opulent nuptials we’ve ever seen.
The 27-year-old model tied the knot with her long-term partner in Moscow’s Barvikha Luxury Village hotel this week, in a celebration complete with two dresses, an eight-tier wedding cake and thousands of flowers.
The couple, who split their time between Russia and Dubai, called it the “wedding of the year” in photos and videos shared by Tsaritsina following the big day.
“That was incredible! Thank you to all our friends for sharing this magnificent day with us,” the model mum-of-two wrote on Instagram.
“Thanks to our large and loving family. And of course thanks to the organisers of this masterpiece wedding. It was unforgettable.”
One of the highlights on the night was the “floating” wedding cake, dripping in chandelier-inspired crystal strands.
Tsaritsina’s gowns were equally as grandiose, with the model sporting a fairytale-worthy off the shoulder number for the “I dos”, encrusted in beading and gemstones.
The bride later changed into a tulle-skirted dress with a glittering bodice.
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds jetted back to Dubai to celebrate Shapovalov’s birthday (in a suitably luxe fashion).
The pair checked into a suite in the seven-star Burj al Arab, which they had decked out in balloons and banners to mark the occasion.
The pair appear to have holidayed at another Jumeirah hotel, the Al Qasr, earlier this year, where Shapovalov gave his then-fiancée a seriously pricey upgrade to her previously heart-shaped engagement ring.
The 70-carat diamond is estimated to be worth a staggering US$8-10 million (Dhs29-36 million) according to Brides.com.
We can barely imagine what future anniversary presents might cost…
