Here’s what the superstar got up to during her time in the city…
She swapped her block for ours (for a few days, at least).
Jennifer Lopez spent last week enjoying the best that Dubai has to offer, after jetting in for a one-night-only show on November 17.

In fact, the Get Right singer put in a lot of work (but made time for play too), also performing at a private event at the Dubai Air Show and a pre-party at BASE Dubai.
And the star seemed pretty happy to be in the city, telling the crowd at the Autism Rocks Arena on Friday she “loved Dubai”.
Lopez treated the crowd to hits including Love Don’t Cost a Thing and Let’s Get Loud during her 90-minute show, which her baseball-player beau Alex Rodriguez enjoyed from a prime spot.
In fact, Rodriguez was a regular at all of Lopez’s performances, and even joined in some pre-show rehearsals according to a snap the singer shared on her Instagram.
However the A-list couple did suffer one significant side-effect of the long journey from the States to the UAE.
“It took 12 hours to get here—my head is spinning, I’m so jet lagged,” Rodriguez said in a clip he shared with his 1.1 million Instagram followers on Wednesday.
And it looks like they never quite recovered from the flight, with the former New York Yankees player revealing he was still plagued by jet-lag over the weekend.
The couple enjoyed a 1am dinner on Friday at what looks like the Palazzo Versace, according to this snap from Rodriguez.
Lopez also took a dinner-date photo as she lay on a staircase, clad in an intricate Balmain dress.
“DUBAIIIII!!! Thank you for an amazing trip… I️ loved every minute!!” she later posted.
It wasn’t the Maid in Manhattan‘s only style statement during her pit-sop, as she pulled on a head-to-toe Versace look for her live performances that had us Googling printed bomber jackets all weekend.
We’re really feeling the silky shirt and layered gold chains too.
Earlier in the week, Lopez and Rodriguez enjoyed dinner at Nobu in the Atlantis, with the restaurant’s founder, Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, joining the pair for a photo.
Lopez herself also shared an image from the night, as she looked out on the city’s skyline while donning a vibrant Versace dress.
She also dined at Fairmont-based eatery Catch earlier in the week, after working up a sweat at a local yoga studio.
Lopez checked out a class at Grosvenor Business Tower’s Bay Yoga Centre, along with some of her entourage.
“We are still so thrilled with the energy they left behind in our studio!” the studio posted after the star’s session. “Best way to get energized and kill jet lag is Bikram Yoga!”
Her head-turning social media snaps were noticed by one particular Dubai resident, a certain Lindsay Lohan, who was keen to catch up with the star while she’s in the city.

“Wanted to connect with you in Dubai since I live here but you don’t follow me so I cannot DM you,” the Mean Girls actress tweeted to Lopez.
The chart-topping singer didn’t publicly reply, so the jury’s out on if that catch-up ever happened.
