Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is known for his adventurous spirit. Whether he’s hiking in Yosemite, cave-diving, or riding a kilometre-long zip line closer to home, the Crown Prince of Dubai isn’t one to sit at home.
His Instagram is often responsible for completely derailing our afternoons as we plan holidays we’ll never go on, and his latest posts are no exception.

Sheikh Hamdan is on a skiing trip in Aspen, the luxury ski resort town in Colorado, USA. To say he’s having a ball would be an understatement.
Because he’s a generous soul, the Crown Prince shared a few moments from his trip on Instagram. From scenery to a bit of wildlife to snow sports, it’s all in there.

We’re not sure we’re coordinated enough for the actual skiing side of things, but the hot chocolate and fireworks side of things looks great.
Spot HH Sheikh Saeed Bin Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum, known affectionately as Uncle Saeed, as well.
Sheikh Hamdan shared a still photo, too. Considering the high this week in Aspen is eight degrees celsius, it’s a good thing he’s wrapped up warm.
That foggy breath both makes for a great photo and tell us it’s not exactly tropical there. Suddenly the chilly mornings we’ve been facing here in Dubai don’t seem so bad.
