The Leaning Fazza Of Pisa?

It’s the cliche shot in every tourist’s photo album – “holding up” Italy’s famous Leaning Tower of Pisa.

But HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Instagram extraordinaire, is not your regular tourist.

Members of Dubai’s royal family have been in Tuscany this week for the Al Maktoum Endurance Cup, an event inspired by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Both Sheikh Hamdan and the vice president of the UAE and ruler of Dubai were there on the day of the race to greet the UAE team.

After checking out the equestrian action, it seems Sheikh Hamdan had some time in his schedule to see the local sights – including the city of Pisa, and its vertically challenged monument.

Now, like millions of tourists before him, the royal could have easily gone for the classic “look at me, I’m holding up the Leaning Tower of Pisa” pose.

Let’s be honest – he probably still would have received thousands of Instagram likes.

Instead, Sheikh Hamdan executed an impressive Michael Jackson-style forward lean, making it look like he was the one being supported by the now perfectly straight tower.
