Including some serious views of Abu Dhabi…
While we were sat at our desks mentally planning holidays that will probably never happen, the Crown Prince of Dubai was having a pretty exceptional Monday.
HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, affectionately known as Faz by his many fans, really showed us how it’s done this week.
Really, we’re just glad he’s such a social media enthusiast. At least we can live vicariously.

Sheikh Hamdan started things off with a very good-looking lunch at homegrown DIFC eatery BB Social Dining. It’s a recent opening, but already a firm favourite.
With a menu divided into bao, bites, bowls and BBQ, it’s got a laid back vibe and encourages sharing.
Here’s a look at what Sheikh Hamdan sampled, via his Instagram story.
What’s On said “we suspect it won’t stay under the radar for long: It’s simply too good to be a secret.” We’d say that Sheikh Hamdan’s visit will have done the restaurant a bit of a favour on that front.

…Before heading off to the capital for the afternoon.
Sheikh Hamdan didn’t take the road, though. Instead, the Crown Prince of Dubai travelled via helicopter.

Looking good, Abu Dhabi. Looking good.
Sheikh Hamdan has a knack for picking the best new openings to visit for a meal. Just in the last new months he’s dined at La Mer’s Masti, Kohantei in Dubai Opera, and Cuisinero Uno in Business Bay.
Dining like a royal in Dubai has never been easier…
