Riri was in Dubai last Saturday
It seems Rihanna did some shopping while in Dubai last weekend. The singer landed in Sydney Airport on Wednesday wearing a t-shirt by Dubai-based designer Lama Jouni. The eponymous emerging fashion brand was set up in November 2013.
The beauty mogul sported a black, yellow and red T-shirt from the brand’s A/W ’18 collaboration with Kodak, with the camera company’s iconic logo featuring on the front of the shirt.

We’re guessing the Wild Thoughts singer picked the t-shirt up after she took the UAE by storm on her recent visit. Rihanna hosted her first make-up masterclass right here in the UAE. The Umbrella singer also made time to throw an after-party bash on the 112th floor, decked out in Fendy-themed décor.
The singer isn’t the only high-profile star to have sported Lama Jouni recently. Bella Hadid, Nicole Scherzinger and Alessandra Ambrosio have all been spotted wearing her designs.
Lebanese-born Lama was raised in Saudi Arabia and studied at the Fashion Design at Parsons & Esmod Paris in 2007. She later trained at a string of high-profile fashion houses, including Balmain, before moving to Dubai.
She also showcased her collection at London Fashion Week in 2017. The designer has expressed her desire last year to open her first shop right here in the UAE.
“My vision for the brand is to build and create an e-commerce platform that can reach customers internationally and then set up my first shop in the UAE or Lebanon,” she told The National.
