The Bride Show 2016 is nearly here and this year it’s bringing with it a whole lot of fashion that is set to excite both brides-to-be and style connoisseurs alike.
The Middle East’s only large-scale collaborative shopping event, tailor-made for all UAE brides-to-be, is returning to the Dubai World Trade Centre from February 10 – 13 with its first ever pop-up couture platform.
The Bride Show is a glamorously decadent three-day event of fashion and pure retail therapy for all soon-to-be brides and grooms, but now thanks to its first ever pop-up couture stores fashionistas will also be flocking to the World Trade Centre to see exclusive collections and pieces by some of the region’s most talented designers.

Jacy Kay Design Couture
Jacy Kay Design Couture is known as one of Dubai’s most respected high-end fashion outlets, providing the very elite with bespoke perfection. One of the most coveted design houses in the UAE, their breathtaking designs are the flawless combination of artistry and craftsmanship. Expect delicate handcrafted beadwork and a sense of classic femininity.
Amato Haute Couture
The bespoke ensembles created by Amato Haute Couture has an impressive celebrity following for a good reason. The unique, unconventional collections are out-of-the-box while remaining effortlessly chic. Furne One, the creative designer behind the brand, once said: “My collections aren’t for the faint-hearted woman but one who is comfortable in her skin.” Furne will be hosting a bespoke runway show at the event.
The Ritu Kumar label is possibly the largest and most respected designer-wear brand in India today. Rita Kumar creations are so well loved in the fashion world because of their incredibly unique style that manages to combine the ancient traditions of Indian’s rich and diverse culture with modern elegance.
Essa is a Dubai-based brand that has won almost every fashion-related award there is thanks to its bold, bright and unique style. The collections are just as colourful and eccentric as the man behind them.
Darsara High Fashion
Darsara fashion house recently had everyone talking as they unveiled “the ultimate bridal wedding gown” – a fairy tale creation glittering in Swarovski crystals. Expect some of the most opulent, glamorous and sparkling gowns that you’ll see at The Bride Show, balanced out with more simple and classy designs.
UAE fashion designer Ayesha Depala is known for her whimsical couture and bridal gowns. Described as the “darling” of Bollywood’s style set, her gowns have been seen on many A-list stars. Expect floor-sweeping gowns in elegant, feminine shades as well as more edgy and vibrant creations.
Bringing together some of the region’s most talented designers for a unique retail experience, the pop-up couture area at The Bride Show 2016 is not one to be missed.
The Bride Show 2016 will take place from 3pm to 9.30pm at the Dubai World Trade Centre from February 10 – 13.
