Dine with your toes in the sand

You could easily while away an entire afternoon at this romantic Santorini-inspired spot. The tavern’s white-and-blue décor alone is distracting enough (we’re talking white-washed, cobbled alleyway, tables on the sand and picturesque views of The Arabian Gulf). But the fare –fresh octopus flown in from the Aegean, Black and Marmara Seas and traditional Turkish dishes – are in a league of their own.Even HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has visited here for lunch. Our advice? Stick around for sunset (and a sundowner or two). .

Head down to the new pool party at Nikki Beach Dubai

We love this unusual party theme. One of our fave beach clubs will be paying homage to the four elements: water, earth, fire and air this season. Kicking off this month with water, there’s a blue dress theme, and plenty of fun to be had at the pool. Just don’t forget your beach float…
