When Beauty meets Royalty…
Monday saw the regions biggest social media personalities gather in Dubai to celebrate the past, present, and future of social media at the 2018 Arab Social Media Influencers Summit, hosted by HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid, ruler of Dubai.

The event saw 31 social media personalties take home an award, including Queen Rania, who was awarded the prestigious Influential Personality of the Year Award by HH Sheikh Mohamed himself. Another winner was beauty mogul Huda Kattan who won the entrepreneurship award for her immensely successful beauty brand.
But what took place behind the scenes at the summit was just as exciting as conference itself, as we got to see our favourite personalties meet for the first time. Mona Kattan shared a picture on her Instagram of her and her sister with the Jordanian Royal, calling her an “inspiration.”

The awards were split into two categories, one honouring individual achievements, and the other for institutions that positively impacted their communities, and contributed to its progress and development. Actress and former Miss Lebanon, Nadine Njeim, received the award for Culture and Arts, and took to Instagram to thank HH Sheikh Mohamed and Queen Rania for inviting her to the summit.
