We love inclusivity in fashion
Over the past few years, we have watched as designer brands started catering to the billion dollar modest fashion industry. Back in 2016, Dolce and Gabbana released their first line of hijabs and abaya, and since then many labels have followed. Now, American brand, Michael Kors launched their very first hijab, as part of their SS19 Middle East edit collection.
The brand’s regional edit includes three pieces designed exclusively for the Middle East. They are the painterly headscarf, featuring olive and white carnations (a historic first for the brand), a bell-sleeve woven caftan and the Mindy lace-up sneaker, which include blooms in olive, black and white – the perfect balance between elegance and streetwear.
The Middle Eastern line is an extension of the brands latest SS19 MICHAEL Michael Kors collection, drawing inspiration from urban romance. The three sport-chic pieces strike the perfect balance of edge and elegance for the Middle Eastern jet-setter and Michael Kors customer.
The line will be available in Michael Kors stores across the region starting March 2019.
