It was to celebrate the wedding of one of the richest families in India
India has become a wedding hotspot, with Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tying the knot there just last week. Just a few days later, dozens of charted planes carrying some of the biggest names in the world flew into Udaipur, gearing up for the pre-wedding celebrations of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal.

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ wedding festivities have started
Isha is the daughter of Mukesh Ambani, India’s richest man and is set to marry Anand Piramal (the son of billionaire Ajay Piramal) in Mumbai this week. The celebrations kicked off over the weekend with feasts, singing and dancing, and other pre-wedding rituals.
On Sunday, none other than Beyonc é brought the roof down when she took the stage at the pre-wedding ceremony, performing romantic hits such as “Crazy in Love” and “Perfect.” The Hollywood star dazzled in a red and gold thigh high slit dress with a plunging neckline by Indian designer duo Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla, and paired it with a traditional Indian headpiece and matching jewellery.

Other familiar faces included newly weds Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra who were spotted dancing at the couple’s Sangeet party, and Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton who’s association with the Ambani’s goes back more than 18 years as they have met several times in both India and abroad.
