Huda Kattan is without question one of the internet’s biggest makeup names. Remember when she had to cancel an appearance at The Dubai Mall because her fans were so out of control? When she drops a product recommendation, we’re listening.
The 33-year-old has opened up to Into the Gloss about her favourite products and techniques, and you won’t be surprised to find she favours a more-is-more approach.

Build your makeup up properly, she says, and “you could have someone essentially pour water on you and you could dab it off and your makeup would be fine.”
Kattan tells the site her go-to face mask is the Tony Moly Intense Care 24K Gold Snail Hydro Gel Mask (affordable at only Dhs39.51, but currently out of stock). She also rates Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder (Dhs141.50), which she uses to bake her makeup.
When you’ve got your own line of lipsticks, that’s probably what you’ll wear most of the time, and that’s true for Kattan. She wears her liquid matte lipstick in Trendsetter (Dhs100) every day, she tells Into the Gloss.
“I actually wanted to create a lip color that was sort of my color but looked flushed. There’s something sexy about a lip with a hint of red in it,” she says, adding that she’s also a huge fan of MAC Hug Me and Twig (both Dhs104), and Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita (Dhs100).

For that famous cat eye, Kattan uses a combination of Kat Von D Tattoo Liner (Dhs105) and Make Up Forever Aqua XL Waterproof Eyeliner (Dhs95).
With over 21 million Instagram followers, Kattan has been named the third biggest beauty influencer in the world by Forbes. She started her line of products in 2013.
