The Huda Beauty founder can reportedly charge up to $33,000 (Dhs121,000) per post…
Just weeks after making her debut on the Forbes list of America’s richest self-made women, Huda Kattan has been named the richest influencer on Instagram for the second year in a row.
Instagram scheduling tool Hopper HQ has just released its Instagram Rich List for 2018, using a mix of internal data and publicly available information to reveal the highest-paid stars on the social media platform.
Kattan, who has more than 26 million Instagram followers, topped both the beauty and lifestyle categories, making her the highest-paid influencer. According to Hopper, the beauty entrepreneur can charge up to US$33,000 (Dhs121,000) for a single post.
But just because she can, doesn’t mean she does. After topping the same list last year, the Huda Beauty founder insisted she refuses to do paid posts, and had even recently turned down a post worth $150,000.
“I find it offensive, because I’ve always been somebody who didn’t do paid posts, and I struggled a lot financially in the beginning because of that,” she said in a video posted to Instagram Stories at the time.
It’s been a big year for Kattan, who recently launched a reality series on Facebook Watch called Huda Boss, giving her fans a behind-the-scenes look at what goes into her rapidly growing business.
According to the Forbes rich list, she has an estimated net worth of $550 million, putting her ahead of stars like Beyonce, Kim Kardashian West, and Taylor Swift.
Kylie Jenner, who also featured on the Forbes list, topped the celebrity section of the Instagram rich list for 2018, beating out Selena Gomez, Cristiano Ronaldo, her sister Kim Kardashian West, and Beyonce.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder can reportedly charge up to $1 million for each post shared with her 110 million Instagram followers. To view the full rich list, you can click here.
