Love is in the air but sometimes we all need a little help in reaching the romantic heights set by your favourite Hollywood love story.
Who better to help you get ahead on Valentine’s Day than those leading men and women who seem to revel in romance on and off screen? From Angelina Jolie and her “date nights” with Brad to Zac Efron and his Valentine’s gift guide, Hollywood is full of stars eager to show the rest of us how to keep the love alive no matter how long the relationship or how much stress day-to-day living brings.
Here a galaxy of top stars talk about how to make this February 14 the sexiest and most romantic ever.
ANGELINA JOLIE
“We actually schedule date nights,” reveals super-private Angelina on how she and husband Brad Pitt keep the love alive with six kids in the house. But be warned, it does involve going to the expense of having two homes next door to each other. “We have a house that has two sections so we go to the part that’s normally the studio and the office and just have dinner as a couple. You have to make that time when you are not Mum and Dad once in a while.”
BRADLEY COOPER
Heartthrob Bradley is a self-confessed “old-fashioned romantic”, who says it’s all about learning from your parent’s happy marriage. “The truth is, I got it first from my parents, who’ve been married since 1963. I got it from them and from my grandparents, who are still together,” he reveals of his romantic side. “You sort of figure out that you don’t need to replicate what you see. In a relationship you want to treat people the way you want to be treated. And, you figure that out after sussing through all these ideas of how love is supposed to be.”

GOLDIE HAWN
As one half of one of the most famous non-married couples in Hollywood, Kate Hudson’s mum, Oscar-winner Goldie, certainly knows a thing or two about keeping love alive, thanks to her 30-year relationship with Kurt Russell. “I think the secret is to know when to depend on somebody and when not to,” says the gorgeous 68-year-old star. “It’s important that you are able to hold up your side of the house. I believe that one person can’t bear the whole burden because then their shoulders start getting heavy. The other part is to stay as sexy as you can and make sure you focus on all of those aspects of a healthy relationship.”
JADA PINKETT SMITH
“Keep it spontaneous. I surprise him,” advises super-confident Jada on how she keeps things sizzling along with hubby of 16 years, Will Smith. “He’s a thinker. He’s always thinking. I just, I always surprise him. Now I don’t know if you want to get in on how I surprise him. During the day I might send a sexy picture of some sort. If he’s on set with me, we might take a break…”

Then, on Valentine’s Day, you should get to tell whoever you hate that you cannot stand them. There would be one day of hating, and 364 days of love.”
