A wild night!

From a surprise appearance from former First Lady Michelle Obama, to Cardi B arriving in a vintage Mugler Couture over-the-top gown, last night’s Grammy’s wasn’t one to miss. As the music industry’s biggest names gather for the prestigious award ceremony, we take a look at some of our favourite and most bizarre looks from the night.

The former First Lady attended the Grammy awards in support of her friend, and host Alicia Keys. Michelle stunned in a matching wide leg sequin pant suit, from New York-based Indian designers Sachin & Babi.

The pop-diva nabbed three Grammy awards, brining her total up to nine. She was one of the best dressed on the red-carpet, as she sparkled in a silver sequin Celine dress. The asymmetrical gown featured a tight-high slit. Adding to the sparkle of it all, Gaga wore a 91 carats necklace from Tiffany & Co. which took over a year to make.

The American singer made headlines last month when she claimed that designers didn’t want to dress her because of her size eight figure. However, Bahraini label Mansoori stepped up, and dressed Bebe in a ruffled red tulle dress, making her look like a princess.

The Nothing Breaks Like a Heart singer wore a black pant-suit from French label Mugler. Miley chose to wear an over-sized low-cut blazer, and opted out of wearing a top under it. The coolest part of her outfit were the shoes, as the heels were shaped into her initials, M.C in gold.

Kylie Jenner – Balmain

The makeup mogul attended the Grammy awards in support of her boyfriend and father of her child, Travis Scott. Kylie wore a bubblegum pink jumpsuit straight off the runway. It was part of the brand’s first haute couture collection in 16 years. The outfit featured a high neckline, glove sleeves and an oversized fit.

The Rap Album Grammy award winner took social media by story, when she showed up in a vintage bodysuit from Mugler’s Fall-Winter 1995-1996 collection. The rapper looked like she was popping out of her dress. The designer described the ensemble on Instagram as “a pink duchess and satin velvet Venus sheath dress over a blush embellished bodysuit.”

The singer went all out in an embellished fitted dress from Ralph & Russo. The gown featured a crystal-covered neckline, embellished with matching encrusted Aztec design. What stole the show though, is the large wide-brimmed hat that the songstress wore – taking accessorizing to a whole new level!
