Winning on and off the carpet

English singer, Ella Mai, took home her first Grammy Award last night, for Best R&B song for ‘Boo’d Up’. The 24-year-old stunned on the red-carpet in a blue gown from Lebanese label Ashi Studio.

Ella rocked the carpet in a voluminous navy, over-the-top gown by Lebanese designer Mohammed Ashi. The dress is from Ashi Studio’s Fall-Winter 2018/2019 Couture Collection. She complimented the embroidered strapless gown with side-swept hair, keeping it simple and letting the dress do all the talking.
The R&B singer is relatively new to the music industry, as she only released her debut album back in October 2018. She recorded a video for her hit single ‘Boo’d Up’ after it started to gain popularity.The Grammy winning song went on to become her first top ten song in the US, and later on peeked at number five at the Billboard Hot100.
