The Hollywood star suffered minor injuries.
George Clooney has been taken to hospital after he was involved in a motorbike accident in Sardinia.
The 57-year-old actor, who has been filming his new TV series on the Italian island, sustained “trauma to his knee” after his bike collided with a car on Tuesday morning, the Telegraph reported, citing local reports.
He was soon joined at the hospital by his wife, human rights lawyer Amal Clooney. The couple have been living in Sardinia while George films, along with their one-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander.
The Hollywood star was reportedly discharged from the hospital the same morning. He and Amal left via a side exit, where they were met by a private car to take them back to their accommodation.

Italy holds a special place in the couple’s hearts – earlier this year it was revealed they first crossed paths in Lake Como, where George owns a summer home.
The Ocean’s Eleven star told David Letterman he pursued the British-Lebanese barrister for some time before they made it official.
“She was a friend of a friend who came to visit and then I chased her for many months, calling and writing, those kinds of things,” George said.
Amal recently opened up about the early days of their relationship in a speech paying tribute to her husband’s achievements in film.
“I met George when I was 35 and starting to become quite resigned to the idea that I was going to be a spinster,” she started.
“Then we met, started hiding out in my London flat and very soon it felt like no matter what happened, I would never want to be with anyone else.”
She continued: “I couldn’t sleep when we were apart, and I’m told I would display a particular grin and head tilt when reading his text messages or the letters that he would hide in my bag.
“Five years later, none of that has changed. He is the person who has my complete admiration and also the person whose smile makes me melt every time. My love, what I have found with you is the great love that I always hoped existed.”
