The dress took a total of 150 hours to make, including 70 hours just on the gown’s bespoke embroidery.
It was comprised of a mixture of different silks (six metres of organza silk and eight metres of silk chiffon) topped off with an ethereal Chantilly lace.
Seven members of the Elie Saab team were involved in creating the dress, including a patternmaker and five seamstresses (including two petites mains).
The couple married in a private ceremony at Santa Lucia Preserve in California, a redwood conservation park. The couple tied the knot amongst family and close friends, whilst surrounded by the incredible 100 metre tall,800-year-old trees.
