We’ve long been watching her concise but effective tutorials on social media, and now it’s possible to work out with Kayla Itsines right here in Dubai.
The star, who has more than 7.6 million followers on Instagram alone, is the guest of honour at Golden Mile Galleria’s first-ever Fitness Fest, which will take over the shopping and dining destination from October 16 to November 11.
The Palm Jumeirah hotspot will welcome an extensive calendar of events all based around keeping fit, offering sessions in everything from yoga, drum workouts and HIIT to circuit training and kickboxing.
More into shaking the calories off to some music? There are also Zumba, hip-hop and Latino dance classes on the schedule, so there should be something to suit everyone’s tastes.

Australian personal trainer Itsines will host an intensity workout at 5pm on November 3, while plenty of local trainers will be on hand throughout the festival to help you get in shape, including the team from Rebel DxB, Nicole Olaivar from GoGoFlexx, and Dima Haddad from PoundFit.
The Fitness Fest aims to encourage an active lifestyle among all the city’s residents, and has been launched in support of the Crown Prince of Dubai’s new active campaign.
HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum this month announced the Dubai Fitness Challenge, asking people to exercise for 30 minutes for 30 days—so the Golden Mile Galleria’s free timetable of events will certainly help you take part.
If you want to bring the family along, Little Gladiators gym will also be hosting child-friendly sessions, while there’s also a Fitness First and Yoga La Vie studio on site to help you mix up your workouts.
The free classes will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays throughout the festival, and the Golden Mile Galleria will also be home to Ripe Market on the weekends of November 3-4 and 10-11.
