It seems like the sea was a great source of inspiration for many designers this couture season, including Lebanese designers Elie Saab and Zuhair Murad. While Elie’s collection radiated romance and femininity. Zuhair’s took a more dramatic flair with its 80s touch.

The collection opened up with a black number that slowly transitioned into shimmering dark purple. The pieces transition from darker blue to lighter hues, leading up to the show-stopping wedding dress. The collection included some signature pieces from the designer, like belted gowns embellished with crystals.

Zuhair’s bride was a sight to see, with a heavily encrusted crystal bodice. The floor-length gown was complimented with a beaded head-piece, and a matching crystal embroidered veil.
