Vacation mode is officially on with Gucci this summer.
The Italian fashion house has unveiled its latest resort capsule collection which is giving all of us major wanderlust vibes.
And rightly so, Gucci has explored its deep roots in travel for this collection, inspired by 20 of the most iconic destinations around the world.
Different pieces in the collection by the house’s creative director Alessandro Michele pay tribute to various balmy locations across the globe including Dubai, Miami, Ibiza, Cannes, Mykonos and Hawaii, to name a few.
Think tote bags updated with zig-zag pattern embroidery over the classic embossed GG monogram and in colours unique to each city, while tie-dye swimsuits and t-shirts set the beach scene –neither would look out of place on the French Riviera or the shores of Mykonos.
The stylish accessory offering completes the vibe with all the beach attire you would expect in location-stamped sunglasses, crochet hats and beach blankets.
Wherever your next getaway is planned, there is something to suit everyone’s vacation style.
The collection is photographed by Max Siedentopf, capturing mini dioramas of various resorts reminding us that unexpected stories are still to be discovered.
