You don’t know what you’re missing until it’s gone, and this is exactly how we felt when the spas had to temporarily close for safety reasons. Luckily, our personal sanctuaries of relaxation are back in business, including Anantara Dubai Spa at the Anantara The Palm resort. To welcome back the guests, the Thai-inspired retreat is adding an additional 30-minutes to a 60-minute treatment for free. To keep guests safe, the spa only offers massages and facials at present while the steam rooms, saunas, inhalation rooms, ice rooms, Jacuzzis, hot bath, Moroccan bath and the luxury Turkish hammam are on hold.

Hippy sweet

Over the last few months, we have all missed something – or someone. The past weeks also proved that the tie-dye trend is here to stay for the summer so mini dessert makers Sugargram have decided to put the two together. The result? Miss You Tie Dye box with a brand new flavour inspired by music legend David Bowie. The tiny and delicious ‘David Rainbow’ cupcakes feature tie dye colours and a yammy vanilla flavour. It also comes with cute little note where you have to complete a sentence  ‘Miss you more than I Miss…’ The box of 25 bite-size cupcakes with the Miss You box is priced at Dhs125 and can be ordered online through ChatFood or Deliveroo. The cupcakes are also available in a small box of 5 flavours priced at Dhs30.

Chic eats

No Parisian kitchen is complete without a handful of cupboard staples and one of the top French dining spots in Dubai is helping us stock up on the best. La Serre has launched a luxury gourmet line of products including a selection of premium olive oils, jams and spreads, honeys and salts. The olive oil selection is as refined as the restaurant, all you have to do is decide whether you want to go for Huile d’olive au Piment (red chilli olive oil with garlic & thyme), Huile d’olive à l’ail (garlic olive oil), and Huile d’olive aux Herbes de Provence (Provencal herbs olive oil with thyme, rosemary, sage, tarragon, fennel seeds, and garlic). Perfect for slathering on warm, toasted bread in the morning is the Pâte à Tartiner Maison (homemade hazelnut & milk chocolate spread), or the Confiture de Fruits Rouge (berry jam). To accompany your next cup of tea, grab a generous swirl of Miel au Citron et Thym (lemon and thyme honey) or Miel a la Lavande (lavender honey).
