The world’s most unique theme park has just opened its doors for the fourth year in a row.

Dubai Garden Glow, which features some of Dubai’s most dazzling light displays, promises to be bigger than ever.

The entertainment attraction has unveiled three new themes this year. The first, the Glowing Safari, is home to dozens of animal sculptures while the Ice Park features creations made from 5,000 tonnes of ice. Meanwhile, there’s also a brand-new Art Park is made from used bottles, plates and CDs.

It took 60 days for 200 international artists to create the installations, including colourful swans, a king cobra, a peacock and an elephant made out of porcelain.

The new themes hope to draw attention to global sustainability and recycling, while hoping to create a boost to Dubai’s tourism sector.

Launching in 2015, the Dubai Garden Glow in Zabeel Park changes its main theme every year. In its first year, it took inspiration from Wonders of the World. Last year, the Dubai Garden Glow paid tribute to the underwater world.

The event hopes to attract more than 500, 000 visitors, which will run into 2019. The park re-opened this weekend in a ceremony by Mohammed Mubarak Al Mutaiwei, CEO of Dubai Municipality for the Business Development Sector.

It’ll run from 4pm to 11pm. Tickets are priced at AED 65, with free entry for children under three.
