If you haven’t yet checked out the Dubai Canvas Festival, well now you’ve got all the more reason to.
Those who’ve been to the Dubai Canvas Festival have got the chance to take part in an Instagram photo competition, that could see them win a cash prize of up to Dhs20,000 by posting pictures of the artwork on their Insta account.
Just take a snap, lay down a #DubaiCanvas hashtag, and you could find yourself as the lucky winner of the Dubai Canvas Shoot, Post, Win competition.

The entries will then be assessed by a jury, and three winners will be chosen based on the quality, creativity and 3D representation of the photos. First place gets the grand prize of Dhs20,000, with the runner up getting Dhs15,000 and third place getting Dhs10,000.

You can’t just take any old photo though. Your pic will have to ‘creatively bring the artworks to life’, must be taken with a mobile phone, and cannot be enhanced or edited in any way.
The exhibition, taking place down at The Walk at JBR throughout until March 14 will see 30 artists who’ve jetted in from near and far, including the inventor of 3D pavement art himself – Kurt Wenner, whose work can be seen below:
With over 60 pieces of work on display, you shouldn’t have any trouble finding yourself the perfect piece to pose in and to set you on the path to bagging the Dhs20,000 prize.

Aside from watching the masters work, visitors can also take part in workshops, as well as listen to lectures and enjoy the other entertainment on offer.
