This Algerian-French actress and dancer never looks anything less than stunning.
Every now and then you happen upon a star whose Instagram could keep you occupied all day. Their Google images results are a mood board, and you want to wear everything they’ve been photographed in. It’s a good time.
Our latest fashion crush comes in the form of Sofia Boutella. Born in Algeria and raised in France, she’s a North African beauty with that laidback, this-old-thing style that only comes from a solid stretch in Paris. And now, off the back of roles in Atomic Blonde and The Mummy, she’s become a genuine star on the red carpet.

These local fashionistas took over Paris, and they looked incredible
The full lineup for Fashion Forward season 10 is here, and we’re excited
So join us, please, for a look at some of her best style moments. You can expect sequins, great hair, and refreshingly chill makeup looks. We hope you’ll enjoy.
Let’s start extremely strong, with this liquid silver Miu Miu number. Boutella is seen here at the Spanish premiere of The Mummy in May, looking like an absolute goddess. Side note: those shoulders. We’re hitting the gym ASAP.
Here’s a more casual moment back in 2015. Dogs are always the ultimate outfit lift, and we love her Dr Martens, too.
Another The Mummy event, another stunning gown. This angelic number is from Rodarte and Boutella is pictured in New York this June. Note her extremely good brows, glowing skin, and warm-toned waves.
Here’s Boutella having a princess moment in Prada. Pale yellow isn’t the easiest colour to wear, but she’s glowing.
How’s this for a dramatic haircut? From long brunette waves to a blunt blond bob. Her gothy dream of a dress is Giambattista Valli, by the way, and those are Cartier jewels.
Here’s another more casual moment. Have overalls ever looked better?
Pre-chop, Boutella wore head-to-toe red Givenchy in the desert, and looked incredible. Such a striking outfit.
We didn’t know we needed velvet high-waisted flares until we saw this photo. So ’70s, so cool.
Fun fact: Boutella was a dancer before she made her name in movies, and she spent years on the road with Madonna, as well as working with Rihanna. Her dress here is by Marni.
If you’re going to present an Oscar with Captain America, you’d better wear Chanel. Loving the sense of fun in this sequins-and-feathers look.
