The next UAE long weekend is only weeks away…
It’s easy to feel like every weekend is a holiday in the UAE, with its golden beaches, five star resorts, and endless attractions on our doorstep. But when two days off simply isn’t enough, there are the UAE public holidays to look forward to.
The calendar of UAE public holidays for 2025 has already been announced, and if you’re wondering when the next long weekend is, we’ve got the intel you need.
Now that Eid Al Fitr has been confirmed, the next UAE public holiday falls on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.
Eid Al Adha is scheduled for three days in the month of Dhu Al Hijjah. Additionally, one day each is allocated for Arafat Day and the Islamic New Year, Muharram 1.
The corresponding dates on the Gregorian calendar will be confirmed closer, and depend on the sighting of the moon. However, we can make educated predictions.
For 2025, Arafat Day is anticipated on Friday May 30, leading to Eid Al Adha celebrations likely to be around Saturday May 31 to Wednesday June 2. So, another long weekend is just two months away.
