It’s a new month, it’s a new day and we’re all feeling good…with DJs, food trucks, new bars, beauty promotions and festive launches all out in abundance, not to mention fun (and worthy) dates that need to be diarised.
Here’s our top list on what to do in Dubai this weekend #WeekendVibes:
Thursday
Doing our best to help Dubai launch another rooftop bar
Now we know the UAE does not need another glittering cocktail bar with 360-degree views of our spectacular city, but that’s not really the point. And when it promises to come with a1920s NYC vibe, a super stylish terrace and a Latin American and Asian inspired menu thrown in to the mix, you can hardly blame us for wanting to check it out. Noir at Kempinksi Hotel Mall of the Emirates launches tonight and we’ll be there with bells on.

Friday
Watching our city break another world record at Dubai Ice Rink
Bringing together 150 of the top DJs in the industry, The Dubai Mall based ice rink will host a Guinness World Record attempt for the longest DJ relay. We all know that in Dubai anything and everything is possible so we highly recommend becoming part of the action. Kicking off at 3pm, expect DJ Vlader Shaydyville, top Miami DJ Dragor and Germany’s DJ Teekay to feature among the mix.
Joining the tuckers at Zabeel Park- Gate-1
No we haven’t started wearing steel-toe boots and hanging out at gas stations, but we will be enjoying the food truck trend that has hit Dubai with a vengeance. Roundup Market features a diverse line up of food trucks so it’s a great chance to get a taste of the best street food the city has on offer, with vendors including Desert chill, El Greco, Bio bean and Mastihashop.

Saturday
Snapping taches to win free beauty treatments
In case you hadn’t heard, Rocktober has made way for Movember – yes, that time of the year when men grow moustaches in order to raise awareness of men’s health issues. Tips and Toes salon has just added an extra incentive to get your fella to stop shaving by inviting you to share a comical moustache picture of him on Instagram and tagging him and Tips and Toes in the post. Then, present your post to any branch to avail of a free manicure for yourself and a complimentary haircut for him at Jazz Lounge Spa.
