The cool kids of the emirates and beyond headed to The Address Montgomerie last night in Emirates Hills to celebrate West LA’s second Birthday. Anyone who was lucky enough to attend their first birthday will remember that founder Alia Korayem and her amazing team know exactly how to throw a bash. Strolling into the party with a retro car to our right and what can only be described as a carnival straight ahead, we knew this wasn’t any old ‘fashion’ event.

Enjoying the tunes provided by a live band and DJ later on in the evening, we feasted on a host of LA-inspired delights including sliders and hotdogs with the added delight of popcorn and candy floss as we grabbed a beanbag to watch the show from. As Alia took to the flower-lined runway she announced to a humongous round of applause that West LA’s hotly anticipated e-commerce site had officially gone live –westlaboutique.com.
For those of us not already checking out the site on our androids, we watched as models strutted in front of an impressive array of images moving behind them. The theme of Let’s Get Digital was only emphasised with the amount of people snapping and filming the killer looks from their S/S14 collection. Once the show had commenced it was then back to dancing on the grass to celebrate another hugely successful event! #sototallyla
